Welcome to Lugo
LUGO - Lego® Users Group Otago is a group of Lego® enthusiasts from Dunedin and other Otago towns and neighbouring areas. Whether you are a LEGO® collector, a MOC builder or just really enjoy playing with LEGO®, our group could be for you. LUGO was established in October 2016 and in February 2018 we became a registered Lug.
We welcome new LUG members both young and old.
LEGO® SHOWS & EVENTS
As a LUG we will be running one main show a year and two smaller shows or events either in Dunedin or neighbouring areas. New exhibitors are always welcome. It is a great way to show off your creativity or collections. Our shows not only highlight the talented Lego aficionados in our LUG and other LUGs, we also provide the public with many entertaining LEGO® activities while raising money for local children's charity groups.
MEET & SHARE
Come along and share your latest Lego® set, a MOC you are proud of or your ideas related to Lego®. Our social gatherings are very informal and usually have a small competition or challenge. Future events will include tips & ideas on making MOCs, LEGO® robotics for beginners, building a group MOC, etc. New ideas are welcome & invited. If you are new to this group and love Lego® maybe come along to one of our meetings.
BENEFITS OF A LUG
Our members are able to take part in the annual LUG Bulk. There will also be competitions and activities for LUG members. We aim to have brick drafts & mini figure swap sessions.
Maybe one of the greatest benefits is meeting other AFOLs and sharing ideas.
